Custom Logo Food Packaging for Private Label Brands
── Brand Custom Packaging

Build a Branded Food Packaging Range, Not Just One Printed Item

Youshang supports brand custom packaging for restaurant groups, beverage businesses, importers, distributors, retailers and private-label companies selling food packaging under their own brands.

This page focuses on coordinating a complete branded range across bagasse tableware, kraft paper packaging, paper cups, straws, cutlery, product packs and outer cartons. The goal is to make different products look and work like one connected range.

Begin with the products, sizes, markets and way each item will be sold. Branding and packing can then be planned around the complete range instead of treating every product as a separate project.

How Is Brand Custom Packaging Different From Printed Paper Packaging?

Brand custom packaging connects several products, packs and cartons under one brand.

If you need printing for one paper food box, cake box, pizza box or paper bag, the main questions concern that paper product, its dimensions, printing and sample. Those requirements belong on the Custom Printed Paper Packaging page.

If you are building a range that includes several product types, private-label packs, different languages or branded cartons, this page explains how to coordinate the complete range.

Brand Custom Packaging Across Multiple Product Types

Which Type of Branded Packaging Range Are You Planning?

The products and packing requirements depend on who will use or buy the finished range.

Restaurant and Beverage Brands

Use One Brand Across the Packaging Customers See

A restaurant, cafe or beverage group may want cups, takeaway boxes, bags and tableware to share the same logo and brand colors. Start with the items customers see most often, then extend the approved brand style to the remaining products.

Private-Label Distributors

Sell a Product Range Under Your Own Brand

A private-label range may include the product, a smaller pack, a product label and a shipping carton. Confirm how customers buy the products, how many pieces belong in each pack and what information is required at every packaging level.

Coordinated Retail Foodservice Product Range

Retail Product Ranges

Coordinate Products That Are Displayed and Sold Together

Retail packs may contain plates, bowls, straws, cutlery or other foodservice products. Decide which items are sold separately and which are grouped together before planning the product name, pack size, barcode and carton information.

Packaging Version Control for Different Markets

Several Countries or Languages

Control the Correct Version for Each Market

The same product may need different languages, barcodes or company information for different markets. Identify each version clearly and confirm which products and quantities belong to it before artwork and packing are approved.

Product Range Planning Before Brand Design

What Should Be Confirmed Before the Brand Design Is Applied?

Confirm the products first. A brand design cannot be applied accurately when the sizes, quantities and way the products will be packed are still changing.

Prepare a product list showing each plate, bowl, container, tray, cup, straw, piece of cutlery, box or bag. Include the size, how it will be used, expected quantity and whether it will be supplied in bulk or inside a smaller pack.

Also identify which products already exist and which require a physical change. An available product with branded packing follows a different process from a newly developed size or shape.

Keep one product list: use the same names, sizes and quantities in artwork, quotations, samples and packing instructions.

How Can Different Packaging Products Look Like One Brand?

Start with one approved brand guide for the logo, colors, fonts and product names. Adapt the artwork to each cup, box, bag or molded fiber product instead of copying the same layout onto every shape.

Keep the logo and product name easy to see, and arrange other details around the available space. Check colors on the actual packaging material and use clear file versions so everyone approves the same design.

What Information Belongs on Product Packs and Outer Cartons?

The smaller pack and shipping carton serve different purposes and should be planned separately.

The smaller pack is the packaging seen by the distributor, retailer or final buyer. Confirm the product name, size, number of pieces, barcode, language and company information required for that pack.

The outer carton is used for shipping, storage and distribution. Confirm the product name, size, number of packs or pieces inside, carton labels and any identification needed by the buyer’s warehouse.

If several similar products share one brand, make the size and product type easy to identify. A carton should not rely only on a small model number that warehouse staff may not recognize.

All product, environmental and disposal statements should be confirmed for the exact item and destination market before they are added to branded packaging.
